     Jeoyuh Lin is a registered patent attorney at the firm. In 2007, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. In 1999, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, with concentration in Materials Sciences Engineering, from The Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar.
     
     Mr. Lin focuses his practice in the areas of medical therapeutic and diagnostic devices, semiconductor technology, electronic displays, automotive components, and materials selection.
     
     Mr. Lin is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lin worked as a patent agent from 2006-2007 at a renowned medium-sized law firm in Alexandria, Virginia, where he received extensive experience in patent prosecution and patent drafting in the areas of electronic displays, metallurgy, automotive components, printer components, imaging detectors, and semiconductor design.
     
     In 2006, Mr. Lin also served as a judicial intern at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, where he reviewed prosecution history and consulted with Administrative Patent Judges to draft administrative opinions.
     
     From 1999-2004, Mr. Lin also gained prosecution experience while working as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He examined applications in the medical imaging and diagnostic art, including magnetic resonance, infra-red, ultrasound, X-ray, and optical imaging, and biometric detectors such as thermometers, body-fat measurement devices, and Electrocardiograms (ECG).
     
     From 1997-1999, Mr. Lin further worked as a research technician at The Johns Hopkins Biomechanics Laboratory in Baltimore, Maryland. His primary field of research included strength and stiffness analysis of orthopedic implants, and mechanical properties of polymeric drug-release materials.
     
     Mr. Lin also gained extensive experience in negotiations and client counseling while serving as a legal intern at the Columbus Community Legal Services.
